True, but the point was not to make a good looking fake, but an obviously changed one.

didn't we get alpha access by donating to the kickstarter?

You can get alpha access by either winning this competition or buying it during the kickstarter in november.

i know they said that but they made it seem like winning alpha access was some huge incentive. i guess i didn't see it that way since i've made my intention to donate clear from the get-go.

... which brings a question to mind. if i get top-5 can i gift alpha access to somebody else? like, i get mine from donating and i give my competition one to a friend so i can play with them without them having to donate? i think they'd be more likely to pay for the beta/full release if they got a chance to play it for free beforehand.

The prize includes alpha, beta, and full release.
