Get a ship, Get a crew, Find a job, and keep flying

hey all I got to thinking when the game gets up I will want to have some friends to crew with and since you all are so nice on here I thought I might open it up to you first I am more then likely pilot as often as I can but I will be needing a co-pilot to fly the ship when I can't at least 2 gunner and combat specialists, a mechanic to take care of the ship repairs and upgrades and maybe more depending on the release and what they add but those are only a guide line to find crew members and those wont be set jobs and also for rp purposes

welcome aboard friend I am still looking for more people for the crew any and all are welcome still need a mechanic and a co-pilot but I will take some more combat personnel the crew only has two ranks captain and crewmen if I can get a crew of 6 I will appoint a second if I get the max that I will take is 10 and I will appoint a squad leader who will lead the away team and resource gathering

hey guys I haven't posted in a while but I would love to have you on board Airsofter I am still excitedly waiting for the alpha as I am sure you all are too

I'd love to implement some sort of system at some point that devs can use to drop into random games and RP special characters...with the players permissions of course. As devs we can pull a list of every room currently in session...and join it if we wanted too. Could be fun! ><

Devs could join in and be a special pirate or something. Threaten the player if the player doesn't do something for them (unless the player is strong enough to take them on).

I wouldnt mind seeing some dev's in my game RP is always better when you have some unexpected things happen and it would greatly increase my interest in the game something you could do regarding wheither people want devs to suddenly show up is maybe make it an option in the setting like "sudden dev entrance allow/disallow"

O and as far as I know the roster for the RP crew is

captain: me of course lol
co-pilot: airsofter
combat: overwatch301

this is as it stands atm would like to have more crew it will mostly be an RP crew depending on how serious the players are it could range from very loose to very serious RP but it will be garenteed fun any and all are welcome

I'd be down to be apart of the crew. I would like to be the engineer. And maybe the co-co pilot lol.
This game sounds amazing and am pumped for the alpha to come out

a role-play series of this would make a great youtube thing. And I would love to be a part of something like that, maybe if we get more than 4-player multiplayer. It would be awesome to be part of a small ship with my friends, where we could follow orders from our commander as we fight other factions to control planets and the like.

That would be cool, but remember, its not what they are looking to do, they are looking to make a Co-Op survival game, I don't think PVP is high on their list, if it is at all.

Like the role play youtube series idea though. could be fun. I'd be up to for playing a character. lol

As the main programmer, I'm definitely planning on allowing us devs to drop into anyone's game (providing you permit us to enter), so your better get a crew together good enough to take us on, we're coming for you...no mercyyyyyy.
