OK so there are alot of ideas running around this forum about different features that do line up with the devs ideas for the game.  Nothing wrong with that. It's perfectly normal for games.  The way the consumer goes beyond the devs ideas is with mods.  My question how do the devs feel about users modifying the game adding/changing  mechanics of the game? Some of the best ways that sell games are major modifications of the original game.  Biggest example of this currently is DayZ.   To be clear I'm talking both simple GUI mods and total conversion mods.

You purchased the game, you can do whatever you want with it. As long as your offering your mod for free and not for profit, it's still our framework at the end of the day.

It's a great way for dev's to see what people enjoy doing and what else they might have wanted out of the game.

Cool! After the first release will there be modding tools released for the game?

Modding tools will be considered after the game is 100% finished. Until then, we have no plans to develop anything like that.

It would be a good idea but implementing it into the game so that people can access and change core features is something all together, it would probably involve the creation of some kind of toolkit or set.
