Frequently Asked Questions
Q.1:Will there be a Pre Alpha and can I be a part of it?
A.1: If all goes well on Steam Greenlight we should have a playable Alpha available to you. Access to this Alpha would be gained through donations on Kickstarter or by purchasing it on Steam. The Alpha would receive progressive updates as we continue to work on the project, meaning the community can play and test the game as it develops, helping us to make it the best possible experience. Keep checking Greenlight and spread the word to help us get Wayfarer out faster!
Q.2: Will there be character customization?
A.2: Yes! there's gonna be a whole tutorial at the start of the game where you can change your physical appearance. We can also confirm you will play as a human, and not the fabled Tic-Tac race.
Q.3:Will there be support for Linux/OS X?
A.3: We're developing the game on Windows through Unity 4.0 so the feature is definitely available. We want to make sure we have the proper tools available to test our Linux builds to make sure they work and function properly so we can offer as much support for Windows as we do for Linux. It's not a matter of not being able to build for Linux, it's just a matter of testing and QA, we're working on this.
